I use the term 'speed' lightly here. It look a couple of hours of mistakes last night followed by an hour of more mistakes tonight and then about 1.5 hours of finishing touches.
The results of last night's 2 hours was soul destroying. So trust me, if anyone is looking at this and thinking that they would like to be able to do it - just keep barrelling through and do not let it get the better of you (unless your initial composition sucks).
I use anything I can get my hands on, the images will change so much that a) no one would notice and b) no one would be able to realistically have any legal issues as it would have changed so much. But it's generally better practise to take your own photos - some concept artists use a photo as a basis and just add a few paint strokes.
I would love to see it in color. The image is the perfect theater for a really interesting palette! Great composition and using a low sun background to a rather dark foreground, and a great transition. Marvelous texturing as it moves away for from the viewer too! iconyaayplz: Well done!

Everything could always use some improvement!
